Fall in London

I think that I'm falling in love with fall in London. Most people are probably shocked by reading this, because I'm the biggest baby when it comes to the cold, but London is different. First of all, the weather is about 10 degrees warmer than it is at this time of the year in Toronto. Second of all, there are dozens of stunning parks in London, covered with humongous maple trees and ponds...I hear you can even see deer at some of them, although I haven't had the pleasure to date...
I wish it didn't rain so much so that I can do my park exploring more often, but going to the park on a nice and sunny autumn day in London feels like a special treat since it doesn't happen often.

Here's mine and Anna's latest escapade to the Richmond Park. Richmond is a quieter suburb of London, about 40 minutes from Central London where we live. It felt great visiting it and getting out of the city, as the place had a completely different from London atmosphere - quiet, serene and very-very green.
We never actually made it to the main park (that we really wanted to visit because that's where the deer lives), because we spent too much time taking pictures along the way, and getting lost in the deserted cemetery right at dusk (which I claim was super cool in an eerie way, where Anna thinks that it was the worst idea ever trying to shortcut it to the park through the cemetery at 5 pm, while underestimating how early the sun actually sets hehe). Oh well, it just means that we have to come back, which I wouldn't mind!

Our chocolate store guarding boyfriends...we couldn't resist taking a pic with them as we always have food on our mind!

No big day at the park is complete without a big dinner afterwards! Surf and turf at Big Easy with real American portions - yum!
